The Population and Pronatalist Problem

The entire World is currently horribly overpopulated in 2025. Humanity cannot even sustain our current population numbers without creating so much pollution that all the surface ice on the planet melts, which will raise sea levels by about 65 meters, destroying the homes, schools, hospitals, offices, shops and transportation and energy infrastructure for over half of Humanity. As nations whose citizens do not yet create as much pollution as the average European or American, raise themselves up economically and their citizens buy and use refrigerators and freezers and washing machines and drive automobiles and travel using aircraft, they will start to pollute two and three, even ten times as much as they do now.

As we move to replace fossil fuels as our energy source with renewable energy like solar, wind, geothermal and tidal power, the reduced pollution will be more than offset by the increased population and energy needs of wealthier populations for some time - perhaps as much as a century or even two.  And as we see with the current Trump administration and elsewhere, the will to transition away from fossil fuels to green energy occasionally gets lost, even reversed. We cannot yet count on nuclear fusion as a power source, although we remain hopeful; and there are still major problems with radioactivity, we do advocate the intelligent use of nuclear fission as a stopgap measure until fusion or renewables are enough to power the Earth.

Thus there is no room at all for population growth.

Rather there is a critical and huge need for population reduction. We can either reduce the population ourselves humanely, over the course of many generations by restricting migration and by restricting the number of whildren individuals may conceive (and we can try to do this voluntarily - by offering tax relief or free housing, for example to people who do not have any children - which is the exact opposite of the harmful pro-population growth policies of the pronatalists and the Trump and the religious extremists groups - Jews, "Christians", Catholics, Protestants and Moslems, Hindus, etc. - which wants to reward people for having more children - thus sealing the overpopulation coffin for good, with US, all the other species on the planet and even Planet Earth itself inside the coffin), or we can let Mother Nature do it - and Nature will do it harshely, brutally, indiscriminately and suddenly via war, starvation, drought, flooding, rising sea levels, disease and disaster.

The pronatalist movement falsely claims that declining birthrates mean that Humanity's continuity is no longer assured. That is nonsense. Humanity is 8 billion people, half of whom still live below the line of decency, we estimate. We would be far better off, far wealthier, far healthier and have far more opportunity and freedom and resources to use if we were only 1 billion, or even 100 million. No sane and intelligent person can doubt this.

What the pronatalist movement isn't talking about are two huge points which we will address here.

First is the ability of people to become rich, which includes within it the ability, indeed the necessity of the Government to stay solvent and not go bankrupt. It is true that as population growth stops, then it becomes harder to get rich, harder even to make a profit. There will be consolidation, and less traditional companies created, since there will be fewer people (not more as has been the case in the US for 300 years) to serve and sell to. Furthermore, the promises that both government and business have made to people regarding pensions, health care, etc. are simply not realistic unless the population expands at all times - which we cannot have, so we need to change the system so that we can realistically provide for people after they stop working. Health care alone is such a monetary black hole that it alone could take every single government dollar if we let it. So, there will have to be some kind of redistribution of wealth - which is what the pronatalists and conservatives really don't want, and as well there will have to be a lowering of expectations of what businesses and government owe to people after they stop working - which the liberals really don't want. In fact we probably need to outlaw pensions completely since without an ever-increasing population base they are impossible to provide. Health care is another matter which we need to come to some decisions about. Hard decisions. Both these decisions essentailly entail making people responsible for their own lives and their own retirements, and leaving companies and governments less so.

The national debt is another matter, and we beleive that it is unconstitutional - since borrowing and spending now and forcing future generations of taxpayers to foot the bill is indeed "taxation without representation", and is unconstitutional. We need to make a one-time levy on all companies, individuals, foundations and every form of entity which has value, pay off the debt instantly, and put the governemnt - all governments - federal, state, county and city on a cash only basis. That's what happens to people when they can't pay their bills for too long, and that's what needs to happen to government. That solves the problem of what to spend taxpayer money on. The government levies taxes once a year, and the amount it collects is all it can spend. It so simple. If there isn't enough money, then they can vote to raise taxes for the next year, but they should not have to option to spend the future now.

I believe that by outlawing all offshore tax haven International Business Companies, etc. we can pay off all the world's national debt immediately just using the offshore funds.
